Sir Landon James Charters is fully licensed and insured.
All our vessel is Transport Canada Safety Certified and are fully equipped with all necessary safety equipment (including safety vests, first-aid kit, VHF radio, and GPS).

Owner/operator Bert Tom, has extensive boating experience. With the water safety wisdom of his ancestors, Bert has been on the water since the age of 14 years old. He is a rare commodity, providing his clients with over 46 years of navigational experience and the cultural knowledge of his ancestors.

He is fully certified with the credentials and experience to keep you safe including:

• Small Vessel Operations Proficiency Certificate
• Marine Emergency Duties Certificate
• Marine Radio Certification

But, as Bert shares with his clients, “every day is a different day on the water” meaning it does not matter how many certificates one has, marine safety is “learned” from experience.
